What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit under the nursing process framework
- Effectively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate pediatric patient needs
- Use clinical judgment to prioritize patient safety and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and delegate appropriately
- Educate patients and families about care plans and health maintenance
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism in all interactions
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- 2+ years of pediatric ICU experience
- Current BLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Physical ability to perform heavy work and patient handling
