If you're an experienced Progressive Care Unit RN who thrives in a fast-paced setting, this is an opportunity to provide specialized care for complex patients while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team.

Important: This facility does not accept Arizona residents for travel assignments. Candidates must have a permanent residence outside of Arizona. Driver’s license address will be used for verification.


Position Details

  • Position: RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

  • Location: Phoenix, Arizona

  • Contract: 13 Weeks

  • Schedule:

    • Day Shift

    • 3×12-hour shifts

    • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Weekend Requirement: Per facility guidelines

  • Holiday Requirement: Per facility guidelines


What You'll Need

  • Active RN License

  • Current BLS Certification

  • Recent PCU/Progressive Care nursing experience

  • Strong telemetry and intermediate care experience

  • Experience caring for higher-acuity patients requiring close monitoring

  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills


What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for PCU patients

  • Monitor patients requiring cardiac monitoring and higher-level care

  • Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans

  • Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Educate patients and families throughout the care process

  • Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe patient outcomes
