Position: RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
Day Shift
3×12-hour shifts
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Per facility guidelines
Holiday Requirement: Per facility guidelines
Active RN License
Current BLS Certification
Recent PCU/Progressive Care nursing experience
Strong telemetry and intermediate care experience
Experience caring for higher-acuity patients requiring close monitoring
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
Provide comprehensive nursing care for PCU patients
Monitor patients requiring cardiac monitoring and higher-level care
Perform assessments, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans
Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families throughout the care process
Maintain accurate documentation and promote safe patient outcomes
Work in a high-acuity Progressive Care environment
Gain experience caring for complex patient populations
Opportunity to work with an experienced clinical team
Three 12-hour shifts per week
