Adventist Health and Rideout is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized post-anesthesia care for surgical patients recovering from anesthesia and procedures. The PACU RN will assess and monitor patients during the immediate post-operative period, manage pain and recovery, recognize and respond to complications, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Current Epic EMR experience required
Recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital
Experience recovering surgical patients following anesthesia
Strong critical care assessment and patient monitoring skills
Ability to work 10-hour night shifts
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
PACU/Perioperative experience required
PALS (facility requirement)
IV Sedation competency (per facility requirement)
BSN preferred
