About the Role

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. You'll work alongside a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care throughout the recovery process.

What You'll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical interventions
• Document care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesia providers, and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Delegate and direct care appropriately based on team member competencies
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives
• Maintain clinical excellence through continuing education and professional development

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum one year of recent Pre-Op/PACU nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS and PALS certification upon hire or transfer

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Specialty certification
• Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
