Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedics Clinic

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced orthopedic providers while serving as the primary clinical liaison between patients, physicians, and support staff.

This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys building patient relationships, coordinating care, and working in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on exceptional orthopedic care. You'll play an important role in ensuring smooth daily clinic operations while helping patients through every stage of their treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinical operations within the orthopedic clinic
  • Triage patient phone calls and determine appropriate care needs
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Process prescription refills and prior authorizations
  • Prepare patients for clinic visits and post-operative follow-up appointments
  • Obtain vital signs and maintain accurate electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with providers, schedulers, and clinical support staff
  • Promote a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred)
  • Active Montana RN license (or eligibility)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Knowledge of orthopedic clinical procedures and medical terminology
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Experience using electronic health records (EHR)

Preferred

  • Orthopedic clinic experience
  • LPN or Certified Medical Assistant experience may be considered, although RN is strongly preferred
