About the Job:
Shriners Children's Boston is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Operating Room (OR) - Pediatric Surgery department. You will play a crucial role in providing perioperative care to pediatric patients, ensuring a sterile environment and offering support before, during, and after surgery. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and the OR environment for pediatric surgeries.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures.
• Assist the surgical team during operations, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with instruments.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals for seamless surgical care.
• Provide education to patients and families on post-surgical recovery and care.
• Document patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in accordance with facility protocols.
• Follow infection control standards and safety protocols.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $60.00 - $62.72/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $60.00 - $62.72/hr * 12 hours = $720 - $752.64 per shift

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)

Documents Required:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification
• Resume detailing OR experience
• Professional References (at least two)
• COVID Vaccination Card
