About the Role:Better And Beyond Family Care in Cleveland, OH is looking for a passionate and experienced RN or LPN who is certified to teach STNA/CNA training courses. This is a rewarding opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals while making a lasting impact on the quality of care in our community. Responsibilities:- Deliver state-approved STNA/CNA training curriculum to students in a classroom and clinical setting
- Develop and update lesson plans, course materials, and competency evaluations
- Provide hands-on skills instruction and supervise clinical practice sessions
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Ohio state regulations and certification requirements for STNA/CNA programs
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and documentation for 80 hours training
- Serve as a mentor and professional role model for aspiring nursing assistants
Requirements:- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio
- Current state certification to instruct STNA or CNA training programs
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Ohio STNA/CNA curriculum standards and competency testing requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
- Ability to pass a background check and meet all applicable state requirements
