Now Hiring: RN Operating Room – Contract
Providence, Rhode Island | Onsite | Contract | 36 hrs/week
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 × 12-hour shifts


We’re seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with recent OB/Perioperative surgical experience to support a hospital-based surgical team in Providence.


This is a hands-on perioperative opportunity for an RN comfortable caring for surgical patients throughout the operative journey—from patient preparation and sterile technique to intraoperative support and post-operative care.

• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary surgical teams
  
  

What You’ll Do:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
• Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique when handling instruments and equipment
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor and document patient information throughout the perioperative process
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Rhode Island RN license or applicable compact RN license
• BLS Certification – American Heart Association
• 1–2+ years of recent OB/Perioperative OR experience
• Recent hands-on experience with C-sections, D&C, PPTL, and D&E
• Current COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions
• CNOR certification preferred
  
  

Schedule:
Contract | 36 hours/week
3 × 12-hour shifts
7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
