Pay Range: $61 - $63/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and verify required documentation and consent.
• Assist with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other members of the OR team.
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment and follow infection-control protocols.
• Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in condition during surgical procedures.
• Assist with positioning, surgical equipment, supplies, and specimen handling as required.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations in a Level I Trauma environment.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Previous Travel RN experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• OR/Surgical experience required
• Call, weekends, and holidays availability required
• No block scheduling
