Job Title: RN Oncology
Location: San Jose, CA 95119
Duration: 24 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: Days
Schedule: Days (11:00 AM to 11:30 PM) | 3X12 | 36 Hours/Week
Travel Pay: $3200/weekly Gross
Local Pay: $70/hour on w2
Job Summary:Provides specialized nursing care to adult oncology and hematology patients, including treatment administration, clinical monitoring, symptom management, and patient education.
Essential Functions:- Administer chemotherapy, radiation, and other cancer treatments.
- Assess patient health status and monitor for any changes.
- Educate patients and their families on the disease, treatment plans, and side effects.
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
- Manage symptoms and provide palliative care to ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Conduct follow-up care and monitoring post-treatment.
- Advocate for patient needs and concerns within the healthcare system.
Required Skills & Experience:- One or more years of experience in oncology.
- Certification in Chemotherapy.
- ACLS & BLS by AHA.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
