Position Overview: The Nurse Manager will oversee daily clinical operations, supervise nursing and clinical support staff, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure exceptional patient care. This position combines hands-on nursing leadership with administrative responsibilities in an outpatient primary care environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee daily clinical operations and supervise RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and clinical support staff.

• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.

• Manage staffing needs and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures.

• Conduct monthly quality audits and identify opportunities to improve patient care.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.

• Oversee medication management, laboratory operations, and clinical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Coordinate patient care, follow-up appointments, and clinical services.

• Provide hands-on nursing care, patient assessments, triage, and education as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leadership to maintain efficient clinic operations.

Requirements: 

• Active New York State RN license – Required

• Bachelor's degree – Required

• Previous nursing management experience – Required

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience supervising clinical staff and managing daily nursing operations

• Outpatient, primary care, ambulatory care, or community health experience is a plus
