    Position: RN Nurse Manager of Surgical Services Location: Arlington, TXShift/Schedule: Mixed | Full-Time | Rotating WeekendsWhat You’ll Do:
    • Assures the delivery of professional nursing care within the Operating Room by assessing, planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing care provided to all surgery patients.
    • Collaborates with the OR Educator in education and training of all department staff both in the initial implementation phase and on an ongoing basis.
    • Develops staff by department specific needs assessment.
    • Develops goals and objectives, implementation methods, evaluation measures.
    • Develops, maintains and interprets policy and procedures; maintains fiscal responsibility for department.
    • Responsible for implementation of professional nursing care for all patients.
    • Acts as liaison between OR staff and administration, medical staff and other hospital departments.
    • Performance appraisals, in collaboration with clinical unit leadership.
    • Participates in facility management team meetings.
    • Works collaboratively with director, administration, finance department and unit leadership in both operating and capital budget processes.
    Qualifications Required:
    • MUST have 2 years of Operating Room acute care leadership experience.
    • MUST have a minimum of 5 years of RN staff level OR experience.
    • Strong clinical knowledge in surgical nursing. 
    • Bachelor’s degree – Required
    • Current TX RN license or compact state license.
    • Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • CNOR – Highly Preferred
    Compensation & Benefits:
    • Salary Range: Min $84,843 – Max $127,275 (Based on years of experience)
    • Sign On: $15,000
    • Relocation: Available case by case
