Overview
The Nurse Manager, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), provides operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for a high-acuity critical care environment. This role is accountable for the daily operations of the ICU, ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional development.
The Nurse Manager oversees clinical and support staff, manages departmental resources, drives quality and performance improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Working collaboratively with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams, the Nurse Manager promotes exceptional patient outcomes, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
