What Youll Do
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process and applicable professional standards.
- Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
- Delegate, direct, and support licensed and ancillary team members.
- Manage nursing team resources effectively to support quality outcomes.
- Use clinical information and data to evaluate care and promote improvements.
- Provide culturally, ethnically, and religiously sensitive care and communication.
What You Need
Required- Current State of Louisiana RN license
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Associate degree in Nursing
- 2+ years of experience
- Strong organization, time management, communication, and judgment skills
Preferred- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
