What Youll Do
- Deliver high-quality neonatal nursing care using the Nursing Process within the scope of practice standards
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately and lead healthcare team members when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Embrace diversity in patient care, respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious differences
- Support hospital initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient satisfaction
What You Need
Required:
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in neonatal or pediatric units
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Certification in a neonatal or pediatric specialty area
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Good judgment and ability to work independently
