What You’ll Do
  • Deliver high-quality neonatal nursing care using the Nursing Process within the scope of practice standards
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately and lead healthcare team members when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Embrace diversity in patient care, respecting cultural, ethnic, and religious differences
  • Support hospital initiatives focused on quality improvement and patient satisfaction
What You Need

  • Required:
    • Current Louisiana RN license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in neonatal or pediatric units

  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
    • Certification in a neonatal or pediatric specialty area
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Good judgment and ability to work independently
