    Job Description

    What you will be doing:

    • Apply specialized training to deliver world-class health with human connection.
    • Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care.
    • Develop, update, and coordinate the patient's plan of care to achieve patient goals and optimize outcomes.
    • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
    • Perform and maintain currency of essential competencies as required by specific area of hire and populations served.
    • Advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote autonomy, dignity, rights, values, and beliefs.
    • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing, and other members of the healthcare team.
    • Facilitate formal and informal learning for patients/families, nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community.
    • Align practice with safety and quality, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence and best practice into nursing care.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development and practice to the top of license within legal parameters.
    • Promote a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates, and disseminates research and evidence-based practice.

    Experience you will need:

    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
    • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
    • 1 year of nursing experience in a NICU environment as a RN.
