• Local: $60/hr on W2

Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to join the Mom/Baby Unit in Denver, CO. In this role, you will provide comprehensive postpartum care to mothers and newborns while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Monitor maternal and newborn health status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and delegated medical functions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
• Provide breastfeeding support, newborn care education, and discharge teaching to patients and families.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment.
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed and participate in on-call coverage if required.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (Colorado or Compact).
• BLS (AHA) – Required.
• ACLS, NRP & PALS as required
