- Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse - Nights
- Schedule: 3x12's / 36 Hours / Every Other Weekend
- Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience.
- EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Certifications Required:
- BCLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- AHA Certifications only
- Skills Required:
- Proficient in IV start
- Experience with telemetry
- Competency with ventilators
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation system
- Specialized Experience in:
- Multisystem Organ Failure
- Respiratory Failure
- COVID
- Sepsis
- Post-Cardiac Arrest
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Liver Failure
- Renal Failure
- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia
- Externalized IV Pumps for COVID+ Patients
- Special Equipment Knowledge:
- NxStage CRRT
- Alaris IV Pump
- GE Cardiac Monitor
- GE Ventilator
- Boom Lift in Each Patient Room
