RN - MedSurg/Tele - Contract

Unit Support: Charge RN (no assignment), Team Lead / Resource Nurse, CNA, HUC, Phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, 24/7 RT, 24/7 Hospitalist, 24/7 Centralized Tele Monitor Techs (4th floor). Floating: Required within Region 2 (Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division [CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children's]).

RN MedSurg/Tele Travel Job -Monroe North NC

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (19:00 07:00), 36 hrs/week | 6-week schedule cycles

• Weekend / Call: Every Other Weekend (EOW) | No on-call

• Holidays & RTO: 75% holiday requirement | Up to 6 days RTO approved (must extend contract if hours fall short)

• Floating: Required within Region 2 (Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division [CMC Main, CMC Mercy, Levine Children's]). Paid during mid-shift travel between facilities.

• Radius Rule: Permanent address must be >50 miles from the facility.

Requirements & Experience

• Experience: 18+ months Med/Tele RN experience (First-time travelers accepted)

• Interview: Clinical interview required

• Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Core Skills: IV starts, drain/tube management, wound care, NGT placement, central lines

• Cardiac / Drips: Non-titrating Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin gtts, blood products

Unit & Ratios (45 Beds)

• Patient Population: General surgery, Ortho, Med/Tele, COPD, Stroke, Diabetes

• RN / LPN Ratio: 1:56

• CNA Ratio: 1:89
