    About Facility:
    920 Church St N, Concord, NC 28025
    Licensed for 457 beds
    Level 3 Trauma
    Stroke center of Excellence
    Bariatric center of Excellence
    Chest Pain Center
    Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
    Department Information:
    Census? Average patients/day? 51
    Minimum Years of Experience required? 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
    Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
    Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    Chronic diseases, CHF specialty area, Mental Health, Addiction Services for patients requiring 6 weeks of IV abx, COPD, DM, Wounds, Geriatric care
    Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
    BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
    Patient Ratios:
    RN: 1:4-6, acuity dependent surge times could increase to 1:7-8
    Skills required:
    General Med/Tele skillset: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating Cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone), care of patients with tubes/drains, IV start skills, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.
    Support within the Department:
    Nurse Manager, Administrative Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Supervisor, staff RNs, CNA, Clinical Mentor, Rapid Response RN, House Supervisor
    Technology/Equipment:
    EMR: EPIC
    Department specific Equipment: scales, GBS machine, transfer device, vein finder, EKG, crash cart, language interpreter, tele-medicine cart for online assessments of patients, doppler
    Floating:
    Within region and scope of practice
    Will be required to float per region needs will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice DECLINE if not agreeable
    Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises
    If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
    Orientation (facility and unit):
    NEO
    2 days departmental
    Scheduling:
    Weekend rotation: every other
    No call required
    Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
    RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
    Shift times: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700
    Schedule cycle: 6-week schedules
