Description
This is a benefited, full-time position working 12-hr night shifts generally from 7pm-7:30am.
Located at Scripps Mercy San Diego campus in the community of Hillcrest.

Join the Med/Surg Overflow Unit on the 9th Floor at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, where you will be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This unit offers a dynamic clinical setting with a broad patient population, providing an excellent opportunity to strengthen core medical-surgical skills and gain valuable experience across a wide range of patient populations including some trauma overflow.
In this role, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice, including comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation of individualized plans of care, and evaluation of patient progress toward expected outcomes. You will take primary responsibility for coordinating patient care as delivered by the interdisciplinary care team under your supervision and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes.
Working on the Med/Surg Overflow unit offers exposure to diverse clinical scenarios, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact while supporting hospital-wide patient flow and care excellence at one of San Diego's leading healthcare organizations.
This position is eligible for New Hires and Relocation Incentives up to $7k.
