    Requirements:

    • Active RN license
    • Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN required; MSN preferred)
    • BLS required; ACLS preferred
    • Previous Med-Surg experience required
    • Prior leadership or management experience preferred
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee daily operations of the medical-surgical unit
    • Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and compliance
    • Manage staffing, scheduling, and staff performance
    • Monitor patient flow, throughput, and unit efficiency
    • Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
    • Serve as clinical leader and resource for nursing staff
    • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
    • Manage budget, supplies, and resource utilization
    • Support staff education, onboarding, and retention
