Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – MedSurg / Telemetry to provide nursing care to medical and surgical patients in a fast-paced admission unit.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Strong ability to communicate clearly and work independently.
Experience caring for medical and surgical patients.
Ability to manage a 5:1 patient ratio in a rapid-admission environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients.
Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in clinical status.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies according to orders and protocols.
Care for patients awaiting surgical procedures and support rapid admissions.
Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Promote patient safety and follow infection-control and hospital policies.
