We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Med-Surg Adult / Med-Surg Ortho setting. The RN will provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Schedule: 6:45 PM 7:15 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Minimum Experience: 2 years
State: Pennsylvania
License: Active Pennsylvania RN license required
Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing standards and knowledge.
Assess patients' physical and healthcare needs.
Develop individualized plans of care.
Implement appropriate nursing interventions and treatment measures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and modify the plan of care as needed.
Function effectively as a member of the healthcare team.
Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and staff.
Maintain effective and professional communication with patients, families, and coworkers.
Demonstrate sound judgment, tact, sensitivity, and professionalism when caring for patients and interacting with team members.
In the absence of the Unit Director/Manager, report to the Clinical Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Clinical Coordinator.
Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required.
Med-Surg and/or Med-Surg Orthopedic experience preferred.
Must hold a currently active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania.
BLS/BCLS required
BLS must meet American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider standards and be maintained every two years.
