The Med/Surg Orthopedic RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with orthopedic and medical-surgical conditions. The RN is responsible for assessment, care planning, treatment, patient education, documentation, and coordination with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Location: Billings, MT 59101
Contract: 13 Weeks of contract
Shift: Days | 12-Hour Shifts
 
Pay Rate:

• Local: $58/hr on W2
• Travel: $2,300/Weekly | Stipends: 1,245.00/Weekly included

Job Summary:
The Med/Surg Orthopedic RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with orthopedic and medical-surgical conditions. The RN is responsible for assessment, care planning, treatment, patient education, documentation, and coordination with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
 
Key Duties

• Perform independent nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' health status and clinical condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
• Provide supportive and restorative care to promote patient health and recovery.
• Monitor patient response to treatments and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, recovery, and discharge needs.

 
Skills & Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state of Colorado or compact license
• Previous RN Med Surg or Ortho experience required.
• BLS (AHA) required.
