About the Role
The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Use the nursing process and practice standards to guide patient care management.
- Assess patient conditions, identify early signs of complications, and respond effectively.
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
- Apply knowledge of the clinical information system to accurate patient documentation.
- Prioritize holistic care that addresses patients’ physical and emotional needs.
- Carry out the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, and document according to standards while validating the patient’s and caregiver’s understanding of the care plan and expected outcomes.
Qualifications
- Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
- Our organization follows an in person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite on a weekly basis. The hospital is located at 14662 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780.
- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $41.00 - $62.00 per hour. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
