Med/Oncology

Med/Oncology
Patient Population: Med/Surg/Tele, PCU, Oncology, Chemo, Postop surgery (breast, bladder, lung, colon, and crani), Cardiac drips, Palliative Care (end of life and hospice support)
Patient Ratios: 1:4 for Chemo; 1:5 for Med/Tele
Number of Beds: 20 beds
Department Specifics: Active Unit Based Council, Pharmacist and Social Worker on the unit during the day to partner with nurses in patient care, Multidisciplinary Team that works together, Chemotherapy training is required within the first 90 days. We love celebrating together in an environment that encourages excellence.
Shift: Seasonal Nights; 13 weeks (1st week is a full week of Orientation, followed by 3-12 hour shifts per week)
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
Experience Requirements: 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience, or 1 year of recent PCU
