Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision of the HCA NH Market Director for Womens and Childrens Services Director, the Manager oversees the clinical staff and daily operations of the Family Care Services Unit. The manager works collaboratively with the Market Director, unit Clinical Coordinators, in guiding their departments growth, quality agenda, patient satisfaction, physicians relations, and fiscal responsibilities. The manager supervises and directs the delivery of patient care and care-related services for the Family Care Services Unit in accordance with administrative policies, as well as hospital vision, mission, and strategies.
Responsibilities: • Maintain Clinical knowledge of areas within the department. • Manage day-to-day operations involving scheduling, employee rounding, patient rounding, and ensure patient satisfaction. • Collaborate with Perinatal Safety Nurse to complete competency development. • Support Charge Nurses with Admission and Discharge Coordination, Interview, and hire personnel. • Assess and evaluate employee work performance, implement learning plans, and complete staff yearly evaluations. • Counsel staff, implement disciplinary process when indicated, including termination, with support of NH Market Director and HR. • Provide leadership in compliance with regulatory agency standards, national nursing standards, and specialty nursing standards. • Evaluate patient outcomes. • Assist Family Care Services Market Director with unit budget. • Maintain quality audits and monitor daily core measures. • Monitor supply management.
Education & Experience 3-7 Years Related Experience - Required 3-7 Years Leadership Experience - Required 4 Year Bachelors Degree - Preferred NH RN License or valid compact state RN License - Required
