Title: RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: North California Bay & Valley Area
Cities: Oakland, Walnut Creek, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Modesto, Sacramento, Roseville, San Leandro, Vacaville, Vallejo, Redwood City & many more!
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift Options:- Nights | 3 x 12 Hours (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
- Days | 3 x 12 Hours (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM) (Limited openings)
Compensation:Local: $78/hr. (W2)Travel: $3,400/week (Stipends included)
Job Summary: Provides skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while supporting safe maternal-fetal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Monitor maternal and fetal status and provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and emergency interventions while promptly reporting changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:- Licensure: Active CA RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP – Required; AWHONN – Willing to obtai
- Experience: 1-year L&D RN full-time experience within the last 3 years
- High Risk OB experience is highly desired
