RN Labor & Delivery (LD)

The ideal candidate will support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical environment.

 
Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery RN
Location: Oakland, CA.
Shift: 7pm -7am | 12 hour a day and 36 hours a week.
Duration: 3 months of assignment (with Possible Extension)

Weekly Gross: $3200/week to $3600/week gross including $1707 weekly stipend

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and clinical teams during deliveries and procedures.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and emergency obstetric situations.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with clinical protocols.

 
Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or related field.
• 1+ year of Labor & Delivery experience within the last 3 years.

 
Additional certifications such as NRP and AWHONN preferred.
