RN Labor & Delivery (LD)

Job Summary: Provides skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while supporting safe maternal-fetal outcomes. Responsibilities: Monitor maternal and fetal status and provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery.

Location: Baldwin Park, CA 91706
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift Options: Nights | 3 x 12 Hours (07:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
 
Job Summary: Provides skilled nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period while supporting safe maternal-fetal outcomes.
 
Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal status and provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and emergency interventions while promptly reporting changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate clinical documentation

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active CA RN License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP – Required; AWHONN – Willing to obtain
• Experience: 1-year L&D RN full-time experience within the last 3 years
• High Risk OB experience is highly desired
