Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Rockwall, TX
Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends & Holidays as Needed
Pay Rate: $1,700.00 – $1,900.00 per week (Based on Experience)
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide compassionate, high-quality care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and care for patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition, responding promptly to changes.
Assist physicians during labor, vaginal deliveries, and emergency obstetric procedures.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
Active driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
STABLE certification.
Previous travel nursing experience.
