Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (High-Risk OB)
Location: Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
Pay Rate: $56 - $60/hour
Department: Labor & Delivery
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: Alternating days; weekends may be required based on staffing needs.
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide specialized nursing care in a high-risk obstetrics unit. Candidates must have strong experience managing high-risk deliveries, fetal monitoring, C-sections, and post-anesthesia recovery.
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State RN license.
Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
Minimum 2 years of high-risk OB experience.
Operating room circulating, C-section, and PACU/recovery experience.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
NCC C-EFM certification (must obtain within one year of first assignment with Northwell).
Preferred:
OB triage experience.
Ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment.
