RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, supervision, and teaching of others. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including ongoing collection and assessment of patient health data.

Job Title: Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Vacaville, CA 95688
Shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Nights, 3x12hr)
Duration: 13+ Weeks (Possible Extension)
Local Pay: $76/hr. on W2
Travel Pay: 3300/Weekly (Blended)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards defined by the state Board of Nursing.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including ongoing collection and assessment of patient health data.
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy directly to patients or through consultation, delegation, supervision, and teaching of others.
• Execute delegated medical functions, monitor treatment plans, and refer patients for further evaluation as needed.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• May be required to float to other departments (within competency and qualifications) based on business need.

Requirements:

• Active RN License – California State.
• 1+ year of recent RN ICU experience within the last 3 years is required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS
