Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ICU to provide critical care in an ICU Float Pool, with flexibility to float to MS/Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow PACU, and other assigned units.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
Active California RN License required at submission.
ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
PA Line experience required.
Large hospital experience required.
Pending licenses not accepted.
Strong critical-care assessment and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical changes.
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols.
Perform assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Provide care for patients requiring PA lines and advanced monitoring.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Float to MS/Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow PACU, and other units as required.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
Communicate effectively during patient handoffs and transitions of care.
Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment.

Weekend: Required.
Floating: Required.
Schedule Requests: No scheduling requests can be accommodated.
RTO: Maximum 7 days; no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
