Location: West Hollywood, CA
Job Type: Travel
Duration: 20 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 4x12 Hours | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 48 Hours/Week
Pay: $60 – $64/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – ICU to provide critical care in an ICU Float Pool, with flexibility to float to MS/Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow PACU, and other assigned units.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.

  • Active California RN License required at submission.

  • ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.

  • PA Line experience required.

  • Large hospital experience required.

  • Pending licenses not accepted.

  • Strong critical-care assessment and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.

  • Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical changes.

  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols.

  • Perform assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

  • Provide care for patients requiring PA lines and advanced monitoring.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

  • Float to MS/Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown, Overflow PACU, and other units as required.

  • Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.

  • Communicate effectively during patient handoffs and transitions of care.

  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered care environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Weekend: Required.

  • Floating: Required.

  • Schedule Requests: No scheduling requests can be accommodated.

  • RTO: Maximum 7 days; no RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
