What Youll Do- Provide high-quality ICU patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Monitor critically ill patients, administer medications, and respond to emergencies efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
- Demonstrate professionalism and adapt care to meet diverse patient needs.
- Participate in team leadership and contribute to unit improvements.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including procedures involving blood, body fluids, and potentially hazardous waste.
What You Need- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience, familiarity with EPIC preferred
- Strong communication and judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
