Duration: 13-week
Work Schedule: Night Shift – 3 × 12-hour shifts
Pay rate: $69.50/hr ($2,502.00/wk)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing for a travel/contract assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The selected candidate will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor complex medical conditions, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, monitor, and provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies while monitoring patient responses.

  • Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including cardiac monitors and ventilators, as applicable.

  • Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond promptly to medical emergencies.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care as appropriate.

  • Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to the assignment.

  • Relevant ICU nursing experience in an acute-care setting.

  • Strong critical-thinking, clinical assessment, and emergency response skills.

  • Knowledge of critical care protocols, patient monitoring, and medication administration.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced critical care environment.

  • Work Schedule

  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
