What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, respecting their privacy and dignity
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC and other software
- Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about care procedures and discharge instructions
What You Need
Required:- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- CPI certification (12-month blue card)
- At least 2 years of RN experience with ICU background
- Strong communication, judgment, and computer skills
Preferred:- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Experience with EPIC documentation and specialized ICU procedures
