RN - ICU - 12-hour, Nights

Our client is currently seeking a RN – ICU – 12-hour, Nights (7p–7a)

Total Gross Pay: $2,110.00/week

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced life support and critical interventions
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and take appropriate action
• Administer medications, including IV drips and critical care therapies
• Manage ventilated patients and collaborate with respiratory therapy
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care progression
• Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC EMR system
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support team workflow
• Maintain compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education and/or Certification Requirement:

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Active RN License (state of practice or compact)
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Certification required at submission
• CPI listed but not required (placeholder document needed)

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience required
• Experience with high-acuity critical care patients
• EPIC documentation experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ICU environment

Management Requirement:

• Ability to prioritize care and delegate tasks effectively
• Works collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team

Process Oversight Requirement:

• Ensures compliance with Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
• Maintains patient safety, quality care, and regulatory adherence
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives

Specific Skills Requirement:

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity ICU patients and rapid changes in condition
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
