Job Description

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff and the coordination of patient care services in the medical-surgical, progressive care, surgical services and emergency department settings on a shift-by-shift basis. Supervises medical-surgical, progressive care, surgical services, and emergency department staff on a shift-by-shift basis. FSLA statusEducationAssociates Nursing Required.Bachelors Nursing required with the following exceptions:

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree program within one year of job description signing and must be completed with Bachelors of Science in Nursing within 4 years.
• If in an academic bridge program from ASN to MSN, completion must occur within 5 years.Experience3 Years
• Minimum clinical experience required.Prior supervisory experience preferred.
