RN Hospital Liaison

Location: Braintree, Massachusetts
Territory: Boston and South Shore
Compensation: $105,000 – $125,000/year
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

About the Role

We're seeking a self-motivated Registered Nurse to serve as a Hospital Liaison for a mission-driven hospice organization. In this role, you'll connect patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care by building relationships with referral sources and educating medical professionals about hospice services.

You'll combine clinical expertise with empathetic communication and relationship-building skills to identify new patient referrals, maintain referral partnerships, and grow patient census across hospitals and medical facilities in your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and facility staff
  • Conduct regular, planned outreach to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities to secure new referrals and meet established growth goals
  • Provide initial patient and family consultations, explaining hospice services and philosophy, and obtaining care consent
  • Position the organization as the preferred hospice provider in the service area
  • Assess patient eligibility for services based on clinical knowledge and training
  • Develop marketing strategies and contracts with clinical staff and healthcare partners

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare
  • 1–2 years of hospice or palliative care marketing experience (strongly preferred)
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
