    Requirements:

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; hospice, palliative, oncology, or med-surg experience preferred
    • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
    • Ability to provide compassionate care in emotionally challenging situations
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess patient physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
    • Manage pain and symptoms in accordance with physician orders and care plans
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
    • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding disease progression, care plans, and end-of-life needs
    • Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other team members
    • Monitor patient status and report changes promptly
    • Document assessments, care, and patient responses accurately and timely
    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
    • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families during end-of-life care
