What Youll Do- Perform endoscopy procedures in accordance with physician instructions and safety protocols
- Assess patients readiness and provide pre- and post-procedure care
- Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with healthcare team during procedures
- Document care provided accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
What You NeedRequired:- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting, preferably in endoscopy or related specialty
- Proficiency with medical documentation and communication skills
Preferred:- Certification or training in specialty area
- Experience with endoscopic or outpatient procedure units
