RN EMERGENCY ROOM

Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department. - Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.

 
Position: 
·         Role: RN EMERGENCY ROOM 
·         Job Location: Bronx, NY
·         Shift: Day/Night 12.00 Hr. 
·         Job Duration: 13 weeks
 
 
Responsibilities: 
- Providing care to Emergency Room patients by utilising the Nursing Process 
- creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures. 
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care of the patient in the Emergency Department
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available
- Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. 
 
Requirements: (Bullet/ Certifications/work experience) 
·         Registered Nurse State of Newyork
·         AHA BLS - Basic Life Support Certificate 
·        TNCC
·         ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification, as per unit requirement 
·         PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification, as per unit requirement
 
 
Pay rate: $77-80
