Description

RN – Emergency Department (Contract)

Location: AZ 85719
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 1, 2026)

  • Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week

  • Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts

    • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

  • Facility Type: Level I Trauma Center

  • Dress Code: Navy scrubs with navy warm-up jacket

Position Summary & Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency care in a Level I Trauma ED, including triage, stabilization, and treatment of high-acuity patients

  • Manage emergency and inpatient hold patients during ED overflow situations

  • Perform rapid assessments, initiate life-saving interventions, and collaborate with trauma and interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety in a high-volume ED environment

Requirements

  • Active Arizona RN License (required)

  • Minimum 2 years recent ED RN experience (required)

  • Prior Level I Trauma Center experience required

  • Previous travel RN experience required

  • Experience in 500+ bed hospital preferred

  • PALS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required

  • Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity trauma environment
