• 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

• Required Education: BSN • License: State of Michigan • Certs: ACLS, BLS and prefer TNCC • Minimum Exp: at lease 1 year

Job Summary

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams while identifying and addressing variances from patient care goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide, delegate, supervise, and document patient care in accordance with established standards.
• Deliver professional nursing services and provide patient and family education.
• Monitor patient progress and identify variances from established care goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Promote safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide a wide range of professional nursing services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel.

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification preferred.

Required Certification & Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Working Conditions

Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
