Job Summary
Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.
Essential Functions of the Role
This role will work one clinical shift per pay period and serve as the Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC).
Coordinating emergency department education, scheduling simulations and competency activities, supporting regulatory readiness, and performing various supervisory and leadership duties.
Working closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care.
Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based.
Fostering a caring and outcome-promoting environment.
Encouraging development and opening up growth opportunities for staff members.
Efficiently managing resources to promote safety within the healthcare system.
