RN Director Patient Safety – IPF

Pay Rate

• $56.97–$83.50 Per Hour, based on years of experience

• Sign-on Bonus: Case-by-case basis and subject to HR approval

Position Overview

• Reports To: COO

• Direct Reports: 1 Manager and 4 Supervisors

• FTE: 52

• Top Priorities: Patient Experience, Throughput, Retention

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or eligible Compact RN license.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.

• Minimum 3 years of acute-care hospital experience in Quality, Performance Improvement, and/or Risk Management.

• Experience with patient safety, quality improvement, and risk-management processes.

• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and process-improvement skills.

• Fingerprint/background screening required.

• CPPS certification required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the hospital's patient safety improvement program.

• Promote a proactive culture of safety and harm reduction.

• Analyze and trend patient-safety and quality data.

• Identify risks, medical errors, and opportunities for process improvement.

• Lead initiatives to improve patient experience, throughput, and retention.

• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, behavioral health, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Provide leadership and guidance on patient safety, quality, and risk-management initiatives.

• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of improvement programs.
