Position Details:

RN- CVOR- Glenwood Springs CO

Location                             : Glenwood Springs CO 81601

Duration                            : 13 weeks Contract

Pay Range                         : $65- $70/hr

Shift                                     : 4-10 hour days with rotating weekends, call required

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse with strong intraoperative experience who is proficient in both scrubbing and circulating. The RN will provide comprehensive cardiovascular patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in an established and rapidly growing Hybrid Cath Lab.

This opportunity offers the chance to work in a smaller hospital environment while utilizing advanced technologies comparable to those found in major university medical centers. The position is specifically within the Hybrid Cath Lab and is not a General OR assignment.

Responsibilities

·         Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiovascular patients throughout the perioperative process.

·         Function effectively as both a CVOR Scrub and Circulator RN.

·         Prepare patients, equipment, instruments, and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.

·         Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.

·         Anticipate the needs of surgeons and the cardiovascular procedural team.

·         Monitor patients during surgical and invasive cardiovascular procedures.

·         Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, Cath lab staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

·         Assist with postoperative patient care and recovery.

·         Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.

·         Participate in rotating weekend coverage and required call.

Required Qualifications

·         Minimum 2 years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR RN experience.

·         Must have demonstrated experience both scrubbing and circulating in CVOR.

·         Current, active Colorado RN license or Compact RN license eligible to work in Colorado.

·         Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).

·         Strong cardiovascular and perioperative nursing skills.

·         Ability to work rotating weekends and take call.
