Night shift: 4x12 hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description

The CVICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a cardiovascular intensive care setting. The role requires expertise in managing critically ill patients, with responsibilities including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with specialized procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assess patient condition and progress
• Provide continuous care for ventilated patients
• Manage IVs, arterial lines, and central lines
• Administer medications and blood products as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team efforts for patient care
• Assist in emergent situations and perform advanced cardiac life support

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of CVICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:2
